The Concept
Our vision was to create a contemporary eco-resort, developed by the principles of sustainability and environmental protection that at the same time offer high level of luxury with breathtaking views of Durmitor peaks and green pine forest. Our guests will enjoy a range of healthy life-style activities and programs in spite of the season and climate conditions throughout the whole year. Lago di Monte is a perfect meditation spot surrounded by raw, untouched nature offering complete silence and endless panoramic views of tall, snow-covered mountain peaks, grass fields and emerald forests.
Potentials of the location itself represent an important catalyst of economic and social development of the entire area. Besides creating a sustainable luxury destination, with Lago di Monte we want to contribute to local community by engaging local resources. Sustainability concept behind the project entails healthy lifestyle with local organic production of the area. The entire program has been carefully planned according to the natural characteristics and potentials of the location. Therefore, new structures and their shapes are adequately implemented in the existing terrain.
Content positioning is done in accordance with natural and geographical features of the spot, so the spatial experience mostly depends on the directed vistas and open spaces.
